Hello Dames,
Well
here we are beginning another year. I hope all of you had a nice Christmas and
a Happy New Year. I hope you made one of your New year’s resolutions to try and
get at least one new member to join your Locale. We really need to strengthen
our membership. With all of your help, I know we can do this.
As
of Jan12, 2012 we are at 75.99% short only 73 to make goal. The voyageurs are
at 65.10%. We cannot let the Grand Voiture get ahead of us. We’ve got to Fly To
The Top This Year.
I
hope you are all working hard on the La Femmes programs so we can have some
good things to report when the Grande report forms are handed out at Spring
Cheminot. Reminder when the Grande reports are handed out at Spring Cheminot
you have until June 1st to get them to the Grande Chairman for each
program. Let’s not forget to try and sell our Grand Cabane raffle tickets which
each Cabane was given. This is so very important for all of us to do our best
and sell all of them for the Good of La Societe.
I
will be having my Testimonial dinner along with Grand Chef Gary, April 28th
at the V.F.W. in Adrian. It was earlier set for the 14th of April
but had to be changed due to conflicting schedules. More details will be given
in the next Whistle Stop.
Our next holiday will be
Valentine’s Day. Wishing all of you a happy one.
