 Greetings Voyageurs:

 It is now the time for the Voitures Locale Chef de Gare’s, to start to hustle to get their Correspondants working the phones to call their Voyageurs and ask for their dues or why they haven’t paid yet. We have four Voitures that are lagging behind, and if they would do their work, Grand du Michigan can pick up seventy-three (73) Voyageurs. Although Michigan is ninety-nine (99) short of one hundred (100%) we are actually one hundred thirty-five (135) Voyageurs who have not paid their dues and we know that some have passed away, we need every Voiture’s help in this area. There some Voiture’s in Michigan who have picked up some slack for those lagging, but WE can’t depend on them all the time.

 

Although, every member counts, even those Voitures who need one or two. As it is now, the numbers of Voyageurs who have not paid are dropping, but we keep dropping in the standings. As I stated before, Grand du Michigan is trying to be at least 100% for Grand Chef Donnie Haynes

 Right now, Grand du Michigan is in 36th, falling behind OHIO…….should we let that happen, and Indiana is right on our tails, the answer is NO.

 I would like to congratulate Voitures 957 who joined the 100% or better Voitures.

 I know there are some that are saying we will be wrecking PG’s and we will have new members, but we need retention also.

 Remember, your Voyageurs that have not paid their 2008 dues, can not attend a Promenade or wreck after Jan 1, 2008; and are delinquent after March 31, 2008.

 Grand du Michigan has two wrecks coming up.

 

·         Mothers Day Wreck V-946, Lansing Chateau; May 10, 2008

·         7th District Wreck, St. Clair County; July 26, 2008

 

Most of all, to ensure that those eligible delegates go to Promenade Nationale where the Locale delegate vote can make a huge impact on the floor.
