The
drawings for the 2012 Year have started.
The first drawing was held January 30th, 2012 and the good
news is that all numbers drawn had stubs turned into the committee. The bad news is not all of the stubs money and/or un-sold calendars have
been turned in.
The
following Voitures Locales owe the Grand the following:

V-600 9 stubs and
money, numbers 0001, 0002, 0004, 0005, 0007, 0009, 0156, 0159, & 0160
or 9 un-sold calendars.
·
V-1288 30 stubs
and money numbers 0756 thru 0785 or 30 un-sold calendars
I want to
thank my committee Ronald Runyan V-1002, Ed. Mallory V-120 and William Meyer
V-1061 for an outstanding job in helping with this program. This program accounts for almost ½ of the
Grand’s budget and is instrumental in supporting the on-going programs.
Again it’s
very sad to report that 16 Voiture Locale’s did not take any calendars. However it’s not to late, we have 167
calendars available from returns so far and I’m sure more forth coming, Don’t be bashful, pitch in and if you think

I made a
few phone calls and convinced three Voiture Local’s to take a total of 68 2012
calendars to sell. I still have approximately
200 calendars available for pick up and 13 Voiture’s that have picked up none,
zero. At this time I have no idea how
many I will get back from Voiture’s that are not sold. I was surprised that all the numbers pulled
were sold by Voiture 1061. After
checking my records 2 (two) of the winners came from calendars that were
returned last year and I managed to sell them at the bowling alley. That won’t happen this year as I covered
every league possible in my area.

seems like we just went to West Branch a couple weeks ago and know it’s time for
Fall Cheminot at V-1153
At this time I’m at a loss for words. I have a hard time trying to figure out what the problem is? I personally think this is one of the greatest organizations to belong to. Going through previous Years records, Voiture Locales that picked up calendars in West Branch are taking LESS and going through Voiture’s listed in the Whistle Stop 16 did not pick up calendars. doesn’t seem possible that another Year has gone by. I must say, Cece and I had a great time at
the Grande Promenade held in West Branch.
We really enjoyed the banquet dinner and the entertainment.
On a more serous side, I guess I did not get my point across. I stated that I need every Voiture Locale to take a few more calendars not less. When I think of the good time everyone had, I have a hard time believing that all Voiture Locales are not supporting the Grande when the calendar program represents approximately 50 percent of their budget. We still have 752 calendars available for pick up.

Wow! This completes’ all the drawings for
2010. The Year sure went by fast. Therefore all calendar (raffle ticket stubs

calendars returned.
I know it
seems a bit early to start thinking about next years program, however, the

I’m happy to report that all 1600 2010
calendars have been sold. I need more
help for the 2011 calendar year as I’m
getting older and you can’t and should not expect me to sell 663 out of 1600
calendars myself. It’s about time
everyone take and sell their fair share.
Since there was very little feed back on changes you would like to see in next
years calendar, it appears everyone is
satisfied with the current design. The
2011 calendar will be going to print very soon.

not sold and both Voiture Local’s
promised that they will do their best to sell them. At this time I want to thank all Voiture

HELP! The
Grand needs more help. Some of the STUBS
and Money has been returned along with un-sold calendars. If this trend keeps going, the Grand will
have to cut their budget more than they forecasted. If your Voiture can sell some of the returned
unsold calendars, give me a call 1-586-294-3564. Remember this is your Grand and your programs
and they need your support.
If you sold
